i live here in miami florida and during july through like september
dozens of baby brown anoles can be seen hauling tail in every direction.i just decided to catch one to see if my garter snake would eat it. sure enough, it did. i had to help it by holding the little lizard long enough for my snake to figure out what it was and then zoom it went down its throat.the next day i caught another one but this time i let it hunt it while me and my sister watched. the snake didnt even hesitate to strike the lizard when it came into range.not evena flicker of the tongue.

Wed, September 28, 2005 - 8:35 PMhmmmm, that's sounds pretty cool. I live in Kentucky so we don't have any anoles. Garter snakes around here must be feeding on tadpoles, earthworms and fish.....
